Open Position: Technical Consultant – Business Systems Development

Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Software Development with Object-Oriented technologies
• 3+ years of experience building complex business applications, including database design and development
• Experience working in consultative environments and the ability to adapt to various business situations Desired Experience
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field
• Extensive experience designing and developing software applications using Java and/or Microsoft .NET technologies
• Extensive experience designing and development SQL Server and/or Oracle databases
• Exposure to latest open source technologies and development methodologies

The Glenture Group is currently in an aggressive growth phase. We are expanding our Business Systems Development Practice. To do this, we need to hire highly talented, Technical Consultants with a strong object-oriented software development background.

This position will require our consultants to work as an autonomous Glenture Team, which will work directly with our clients’ IT Departments to ensure the successful, development, implementation, and integration of complex business applications. All consultants will be trained and certified in appropriate technologies.

This is a staff consulting position with The Glenture Group. Compensation will be a combination of salary and performance-based bonus. Glenture provides a comprehensive benefits package for all of their consultants, including three weeks of vacation. This is a consulting position, and it will likely require some national travel, but Glenture’s focus is on the Chicagoland area.
